From the Roots is our second full-fledged wild barrel blend. Wine barrels containing various sour projects with ages of 1-2.5 years were hand selected, blended, and refermented on top of Matsumoto peaches and nectarines. The result is a pleasantly tart stone fruit beer featuring notes of vanilla and oak. It pours a mayan rose gold with a light foam cap and features familiar tart aroma notes of other LAAW wild beers. The tartness is subdued so this will make it more approachable for those that are still getting into wild beers.
